Article 1. Purpose and scope
These terms govern the use of the Maristan platform and apply to all sales and services offered:
- Online Shop: purchase and delivery of fine pastries and premium products.
- Ticketing: booking for public events organized by Maristan.
- Orchestrator: design, pricing and organization of bespoke private events.
By validating any order or reservation, the Client accepts these terms without reservation.
Article 2. Online Shop (Pastry)
2.1 Orders: Any order requires a client account. Items in a guest cart are not reserved in stock.
2.2 Pricing & payment: Payment is made by bank transfer (with reference) or cash on delivery (COD).
2.3 Fees: COD triggers fixed handling and shipping fees shown at checkout.
Article 3. Ticketing (Public Events)
3.1 Booking: Ticket purchases are subject to availability (strict capacity).
3.2 Payment: Full payment is required at booking. COD is not allowed.
3.3 Tickets: After payment confirmation, an e‑ticket is provided in the client area. Tickets are personal and non‑refundable, except if the event is cancelled by Maristan.
Article 4. Orchestrator (Private Events)
4.1 Lead times: Requests must respect minimum notice:
- Weddings: minimum 10 days before the event.
- Engagements: minimum 6 days.
- Baptisms & corporate events: minimum 5 days.
- Birthdays & private evenings: minimum 3 days.
Any request outside these lead times is automatically blocked.
4.2 Service tiers:
- Eco & Standard: executed by the Maristan network and exclusive subcontractors.
- Luxury & Premium: executed by brand partners chosen by the client from a validated shortlist.
Article 5. Validation and payment in three stages
5.1 Initial validation: Once submitted, Maristan verifies feasibility. If validated, the client is invited to pay the deposit.
5.2 Payment in three stages: COD is strictly forbidden for event services. Payment is made in three stages: (1) 10% deposit — confirms the date and unlocks provider selection (proposed providers have limited visibility until the next stage); (2) 50% stage — after Maristan validates configurations and issues the detailed quote (selected providers then access full details to propose product choices); (3) 100% balance — due per the contract schedule, usually 48h before the event.
5.3 Preparation window: Access to Advanced Orchestration is unlocked after ~72 hours (3 business days) to secure partners.
Article 6. Advanced orchestration, configurations and validation
6.1 Dashboard: The client personalizes menus, outfits, decor. Products are filtered by the paid tier.
6.2 Configuration submission: Once choices are made, the client submits configurations to Maristan. The team verifies compliance (compatibility, budget). If approved, a detailed quote is generated and the client is invited to pay the 50% stage. If refused, a detailed reason is provided: the client can amend and resubmit.
6.3 Commitments: Any final validation of choices is binding and irrevocable.
Article 7. Logistics tracking and financial lock
7.1 Tracking: The client can follow each service status from the dashboard.
7.2 Financial lock: If only the 30% deposit is paid, the “Delivered” step is conditioned on full balance payment. Maristan may block delivery without refunding the deposit.
Article 8. Personal data and security
Maristan protects personal data. Information is used solely for order processing and logistics, and shared only with involved providers.
